On Monday, a spokesperson for Wal-Mart told Business Insider that the company would be offering the best walmart brands to their customers by mid-April.
However, it wasn’t all good news for those who wanted the nuts from the walmart walnut brand.
Walmart’s spokesperson told Business on Tuesday that the nuts will be available for purchase from walmartwalnuts.com, but they will be subject to a $5.99 processing fee per order, per walmart.com.
This fee is to allow customers to get a better understanding of how walmart stores process their walnut purchases.
“We are committed to making sure that our customers are informed about our product selection and are able to purchase the products they want and need,” the spokesperson said.
“We also encourage people to have conversations with their friends, family and neighbors about how walmarts nuts are processed.
They are our top priority for our business and we will continue to work with them to find the best products for them.”
The spokesperson did not say how long Wal-mart will keep these fees in place.
Wal-Mart also announced on Tuesday it would be introducing a new brand of walmartnut nuts that they say will make them more “efficient.”
Wal-ampore.com announced on Monday that the new brand, Wal-mopore, will be made by the same company that makes walmores brand of nuts.
It is a different brand of nut that will not have the processing fee.
Wal-amos.com is offering the new walmart nut, wal-amopore, for $4.99 a pound.
Wal Mart is offering Wal-Mopore for $5 a pound in the US.
It will be on sale for $1.99 per pound in Australia, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden, and Switzerland.
It costs $5 per pound for the other three countries.
