Posted September 10, 2018 11:24:33 I’m finally getting around to reviewing my first ever recipe from the blog, as I’ve been wanting to try it for a while.
My first foray into keto was in 2016, when I started with a bag of coconut flour, coconut oil, coconut milk, and vanilla extract for the muffin and a couple of tablespoons of coconut sugar and sugar syrup to give it a sweet kick.
I had no idea what I was getting myself into, so I was looking for something simple and healthy that was easy to make.
I ended up getting an Instant Pot, which I love for the convenience, and the taste is absolutely perfect.
After some experimenting, I found that I really liked using coconut oil and coconut flour in place of butter in a variety of recipes.
Coconut oil is a bit more expensive than butter, so if you’re just starting out, I’d definitely recommend using it for the recipes you already have, especially if you have an Instant Food that’s going to be using a lot of coconut oil.
If you’re like me and want to try out the new coconut oil options in the Instant Pot without the added cost, then you’ll want to check out my Instant Pot Coconut Oil Review!
I really loved how the Coconut Oil turned out, but the recipe for the Nut Bars I made were super easy to adapt to any recipe you could think of.
I love how easy they were to make and that I could customize them as needed, whether that was a simple coconut flour muffin or a delicious, sweet Keto-flavored Nut Bars.
I loved how much I enjoyed the Nut Bar recipes.
I’d highly recommend them for anyone who is interested in trying keto, coconut, or nut.
I’m always on the lookout for new recipes and try to update the blog whenever I find a new recipe that I enjoy.
If there’s a recipe that you want to see on the blog that I haven’t already reviewed, then feel free to let me know! Cheers!
