How Nut Bread Benefits the Brain

BERKELEY, Calif.

— As a child growing up in rural North Dakota, a nut-based diet was all I knew about.

I have nut-milk chocolate bars.

I even make my own nut-oil from coconut oil.

I grew up in a small town in Montana and never heard of any nuts or peanut butter.

Now I’m an avid nut fan and the new edition of my new cookbook, Nut Bread, is filled with recipes that incorporate nuts in everything from soups and stews to salads and desserts.
